It is just great. It works with the file formats that I use, and the algorithm must be very clever. Besides it is very quick, it gives a good overview, and I can control many of the parameters or just take the factory settings as they are which is many cases are just as good. It is always exciting if a program has trouble with the Scandinavian characters. This one has not – and by the way all of the AKS programs that I know of also handle the Scandinavian characters well. I have used the support a couple of times, it is very quick and friendly.

The software works extremely well. However, it is not clear what the different colors used to highlight the transactions mean. Sometimes the highlighted change is simply that the text move to the next line or the prior line and this should be signified in a way that distinguishes it from more important changes.

To find a good comparing solution for pdf is rather hard. Other documents like *.doc (Word), *.xls (Excel) etc. can easily be compared with often free tools available. PDF not. I tried several other tools, but Compare PDF is by far the best I found. It is easy to use, fast in processing and delivers outstanding results.

Dmitry, nice to see legal experts using our products. I believe that the demand for document compare tools was first from those who need to compare legal texts where just one word or just one comma may change the meaning.
These experts who use Word are normally happy with MS Word’s changes tracking feature, but I’m sure that you know all the tricks that different sides can do. I know that some people intentionally switch off change tracking to make the job of the opposite side harder.
I wonder how did you do an analysis of two legal texts derived from two different sides? As far as I can imagine these texts had nothing in common and thus it was almost impossible task for a compare tool to do a standard analysis. I suppose that you used “By Keywords” comparison to have a quick analysis of the keywords in the document that was clue to more detailed analysis.
As for reports, please make sure you have been using the latest version of Compare Suite, as reports are now available in Word format.
Finally, I think one feature might be really interesting for you. What do you do when you find a difference? I guess you want to comment it in some way to your counterparty. In MS Word you can do it easily, but what if the document is in PDF or other format. In this case you might find useful commenting function in Compare Suite.

Compare Suite is the only product I have been able to find that lets me efficiently analyse large volumes of litigation materials provided to me in many of my cases.
